Karsten Meyer is managing partner at d-fine, a Frankfurt based consultancy specialising in risk management and finance. Karsten himself specialises in the areas of capital markets and financial regulation. He has successfully delivered in projects for major European financial institutions, mid-size regional banks and corporates.

Over more recent years Karsten has been particularly focused on central clearing and collateral management, providing a range of expertise from business consulting to process design and IT implementation. Within d-fine he is head of the financial markets regulation practice.

Karsten joined d-fine in 2004. He holds an MSc in Mathematical Finance from University of Oxford and a Ph.D. in Physics.
