John Van Verre is the Global Head of Global Custody and Treasury for HSBC Securities Services. Based in London, John is responsible for the management and development of the global product proposition.   

John joined HSBC in June 2008 as the Head of HSBC Securities Services in Singapore and was acting Managing Director of HSBC Securities Services Ireland from August 2010 until his current appointment in January 2011.   

Prior to joining HSBC, John was a member of the Managing Board of ABN AMRO Mellon Global Securities Services, a joint venture providing a wide range of asset servicing solutions with a strong focus on global custody.  John held a variety of positions within ABN AMRO Bank, which he joined in 1988.
