Earlier this year, we explored the emerging CFTC exemptive program for non-U.S. swaps clearinghouses with both Annette Nazareth and Jeff Dinwoodie from Davis Polk in a DerivSource webinar. Since then there’s been a number of important developments in this area so we have invited Annette and Jeff back to give us an update on these issues. In addition to an update, in this podcast we also discuss the key elements of the exemptive orders, the practical business implications of the exemptions on clearinghouses, their clearing participants and swaps market participants.
