Ron Jordan is Managing Director of Data Services at The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC). He oversees the firm’s strategy on matters related to its commercial and regulatory data business activities, to ensure coordination across the enterprise. Mr. Jordan is responsible for DTCC’s Legal Entity Identification service – Global Markets Entity Identifier (GMEI) utility – as well as DTCC DataPro, which creates and provisions DTCC data. He joined DTCC in August 2010, and has since served as Chairman of Avox Data Services, the dominant player in legal entity reference data, and Chief Data Officer, leading DTCC’s enterprise data management program. Mr. Jordan is on the Board of the Enterprise Data Management Council, and served on the Office of Financial Research (OFR) Financial Research Advisory Committee from 2012-2016. 

Mr. Jordan has over 26 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining DTCC, he held a number of key positions, such as Executive Vice President, Global Market Data for the NYSE. He has also worked for a number of other financial services providers including Arca, Amex, Euronext, NYSE Liffe and NYSE Liffe U.S. markets.
