Ranjana Pieris is an analyst with Celent’s Securities and Investments practice, and is based in the firm’s London office. His research focuses on IT and operations, including, trading systems, reference data, clearing, and corporate actions.

Prior to joining Celent, Ranjana was an analyst at the London Stock Exchange, writing training documents on Corporate Actions and created training programs for various departments. Working within the Derivative Ops team, he aided in the product development process working with LCH.Clearnet.

Ranjana earned a graduate diploma in finance from Birkbeck, University of London and a Bachelor of Science in Archaeology from University College London. He also holds certifications in Investment and Investment Administration from the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment.
