Author Description
Francis Hallawell helps leaders communicate successfully in media interviews and presentations: CEOs, civil servants, ambassadors, regulators, celebrities and royalty.
Over 25 years he has worked across the business spectrum - aeroplanes to aerosols, banking to bathrooms, laptops to langoustines, retail to recycling – as well as with government and charities. He has coached 4,000 people of different nationalities in the UK, in the Arab world and all over Europe.
Francis has produced and presented programmes for the BBC, including a radio programme on Silence, and is the author of Well Chosen Words, a guide to eulogy-writing produced for the Co-operative Funeralcare with Poet Laureate Andrew Motion. He was a board director of London PR consultancy QBO for 15 years.
Educated at Ampleforth, Francis has qualifications in drama and teaching from Dartington College and Exeter University, and a post-graduate degree in applied linguistics from Birmingham University. He has two sons and lives in London and Cornwall, where a passion for the outdoors almost compensates for his love of good food.
