Location: One Moorgate Place, London UK
In a complimentary breakfast briefing, a panel of peers and experts will discuss the challenges and opportunities in establishing a pre to post-trade workflow to meet the new trading, clearing and reporting requirements of the reformed OTC derivatives market.
The Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, and European Market Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR), call for the use of new market infrastructure to trade, clear and report derivatives trades. Financial institutions face the challenge of ascertaining the most cost-effective, strategic and practical method of participating with these market structures and transforming pre and post-trade workflow processes required to trade via swap execution facilities (SEFs), clearing via multiple clearinghouses (CCPs), and report to the newly established swap data repositories (SDRs).
In this breakfast briefing, the audience will gain insight into the challenges and practical implications of connecting to new market structures within the OTC derivatives and how to adjust trade workflow accordingly from trading to clearing and reporting.
