SimCorp, a leading provider of investment management solutions and services for the global financial services industry, today announced the appointment of James Corrigan as Managing Director of SimCorp’s North American operations.
James joins SimCorp from SunGard Financial Systems, where he has held several key management roles over the past seven years, most recently Executive Vice President of Capital Markets and Global Trading. Previous roles include leadership positions at Navigant Consulting and Headstrong Consulting.
In his role as Managing Director for SimCorp North America, James will focus his efforts on expanding SimCorp’s footprint in the US and Canada, while ensuring the success of the growing SimCorp user community in the region.

James received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance and International Business from Marquette University, and has earned parts of his degree from universities in Kenya and Chile, respectively. He joins SimCorp as of September 3, 2014.
