Strategic Thought Group, the creator of enterprise risk management software Active Risk Manager, has appointed Bob Runnells as Principal Risk Consultant in the US. After three years with the company Bob’s recent move further strengthens Strategic Thought’s Consulting Services team, focused on delivering and managing multi-million dollar risk management programmes for corporate and government clients.
Runnells brings with him over six years’ experience of implementing and executing large, complex risk management programmes on $300M to $10B aerospace and defence projects for major corporate clients including Boeing, Northrop Grumman and the US Air Force. He also has over twelve years’ engineering experience as well as practical knowledge of many project and risk management systems.
Bob Runnells joins an already impressive stable of risk practitioners at Strategic Thought including; Bob Bell, who joined STG in the US after 25 years at Lockheed Martin, latterly working on the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) program, Tom Teixeira former Head of Enterprise Risk Manager of Rolls-Royce in the UK and Alastair Allison, Head of Risk Management Services who has over 20 years of risk, crisis management, project and program management within the aerospace and defence industry in the UK.
