Wematch, the award-winning dealing workflow platform for traders, sales, and brokers, today announces the appointment of Ross Levin to the position of Head of Securities Lending Product. In this role, Levin will be responsible for the strategic direction of Wematch’s innovative Securities Lending module, which digitalizes and automates workflow including special and general collateral, collateral management and optimization, and trade lifecycle management.
Levin brings more than 20 years of financial and technology expertise to his role at Wematch, having held multiple high-level positions in the financial industry. Prior to joining Wematch, Levin was a Managing Director and Head of Product Development at US Tiger Securities and its sister company, TradeUP Securities, where he was brought in to implement US self-clearing capabilities.
Levin has also held a senior leadership position at Cowen, where as Head of Technology for its Global Clearing and Securities Finance division he helped build securities finance and self-clearing capabilities from the ground up. Additional leadership experience includes roles at Itau, where Levin built a Prime Services business from scratch, and at Royal Bank of Scotland, where he was heading product development for their Prime Services division.
