Integral Development Corp., a leading provider of FX trading solutions and services, announced that Vikas Srivastava has joined the firm’s executive team as managing director in charge of business development. Srivastava has more than 20 years of experience working in fixed income, derivatives and currency markets with global financial leaders. His focus at Integral will be on expanding strategic partner relationships on Integral’s FX Grid®, the firm’s global inter-institutional connectivity and trading network. Further, Srivastava will oversee Integral’s initiatives related to the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.
“There are only a few people in our industry that have a deep understanding of technology, market structures, and customer segments across multiple asset classes. Vikas is one of those people and I am very happy to have him join Integral in such a pivotal role,” said Harpal Sandhu, CEO, Integral Development Corp. “Integral is enjoying unprecedented growth and profitability, and Vikas’ experience will prove to be invaluable in making sure we continue on that path.”
“In my view, Integral has the potential to become the basis of a new ecosystem that will emerge over the next few years,” added Srivastava. “The timing is perfect to join an exceptional executive team and help drive the company towards that goal. Personally, I can’t think of a more exciting place to be than Integral today.”
Prior to joining Integral, Srivastava was founder and CEO of a quantitative trading company. Before that, he spent ten years at Citigroup in New York in numerous senior management positions, leaving as its global head of e-commerce for the fixed income division. In this role, he was responsible for building and distributing electronic execution products and services across all fixed income and foreign exchange businesses, and managed Citigroup investments in multi-dealer platforms. Prior to working at Citi, Srivastava was the head of currency trading and risk management at Barclays Global Investors (now BlackRock) in San Francisco.
Srivastava is an accomplished industry veteran who has co-authored financial engineering papers, published numerous articles, and is frequently quoted in financial trade journals and magazines. Vikas holds a MBA from Tulane University, Louisiana, and a Master of Science from the Southern Illinois University, Illinois.
