A global hub for the Group’s IT operations, creating 300 roles
Tullett Prebon, a major financial services group and one of the world’s leading interdealer brokers, today announces that it is establishing a new technology centre in Northern Ireland.
The centre, which will be located in Belfast, will focus on development and technical support for the Group’s global business.
When fully operational during 2019, the Belfast centre is expected to employ 300 staff, with initial recruitment starting later this year.
The development is backed by Invest Northern Ireland, which is providing support and assistance to attract and develop employees.
Commenting on today’s announcement, John Phizackerley, Chief Executive of Tullett Prebon, said:
“I am delighted to announce the establishment of our new technology centre in Northern Ireland. Belfast was the standout choice of location for us. The combination of a highly educated workforce, attractive business environment and great infrastructure, underpinned by the support of local government and Invest Northern Ireland is a compelling proposition for a global financial services group such as ours. We look forward to becoming part of the business and local community in Belfast.”
