4sight has achieved the internationally recognised ISO27001, an independent standard for information security. ISO27001 is a benchmark of best practice for information security management systems (ISMS).
Financial institutions are placing stricter controls around the security of financial information. It is therefore crucial for software providers to adhere to stringent security measures. 4sight, as a leading software vendor to some of the world’s largest financial firms, has a responsibility to ensure client data remains confidential and secure.
In order to achieve the standard, 4sight had to comply with over a hundred strict controls. A gap analysis identified that 4sight was already compliant with the majority of ISO27001 requirements; however certification will offer peace of mind to 4sight’s customers through external auditing of its processes.
“Financial institutions demand reassurance that the data we hold for them is securely handled”, comments Sean Clark, 4sight’s CIO. “We are delighted to have attained the ISO27001. This shows our engagement with the very best industry measures and our commitment to the continuous improvement of information security”.
