– Hiring of Ted Leveroni continues Omgeo’s commitment to the derivatives industry amid changing market landscape
Omgeo, the global standard for post-trade efficiency, today announced the appointment of Ted Leveroni as Executive Director of Derivatives Strategy and External Relations. In his new role, Mr. Leveroni will be responsible for driving the development of strategies to grow Omgeo’s derivatives business.
With a proven track record and strong expertise in derivatives, Mr. Leveroni will work with the Omgeo community to meet their evolving needs in derivatives trade processing. One of his key areas of focus will be on responding to market and regulatory developments impacting industry participants.
Mr. Leveroni joins Omgeo from State Street Inc., where he most recently held the position of Vice President, Global Product Manager of Collateral Services. Within this role, he was responsible for helping to drive execution of strategy for State Street’s collateral services globally. Prior to this, Mr. Leveroni was the head of North American Business Development for State Street’s Investment Manager Services business and managed the equity/listed options trading desk for BankBoston.

Mr. Leveroni holds a Master’s of Business Administration from Boston College’s Carroll School of Management, a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Fairfield University. He will be based at Omgeo’s Boston, Mass., office and will report to Clare Fraser, Managing Director of Strategy at Omgeo.
