Sapient Global Markets, part of Sapient (NASDAQ: SAPE), and a leading provider of services to today’s institutional financial and commodity markets participants, is pleased to announce that Simon Greig was named vice president at Sapient Global Markets with primary responsibility for running the Global Derivatives Technology practice.
Greig has more than 20 years of experience implementing and supporting complex trading packages. For the past 10 years, he oversaw programs and projects in the derivatives technology space and ran a 24/7 application support team for a major investment bank. Greig gained experience with various derivatives trading applications across the major product asset classes covering the full transaction lifecycle.

Before joining Sapient, Greig was the North American Package Integration lead for a global consulting firm. He has worked with a number of financial institutions across foreign exchange, securities financing, interest rate derivatives, commodities and equities domains.
