Following the Investment Management Association’s (IMA) Annual General Meeting yesterday afternoon, the following changes are announced to the IMA Board:
Douglas Ferrans’ position as chairman of the IMA was confirmed for the next two years.
The following members were appointed to the IMA’s Board of Directors:
* Claude A Chene, chief executive, AllianceBernstein Limited
* Richard Kushel, vice chairman, BlackRock Investment Management (UK) Limited
* Campbell Fleming, head of Distribution, Threadneedle Asset Management Limited
The following members stepped down from the IMA’s Board:
* Matthew Stemp, previously UBS Global Asset Management Funds Limited
* Ian Trevers, Invesco Perpetual
Douglas Ferrans, chairman of the IMA, said:
"I would like to welcome the three new members who bring with them a range of expertise and knowledge designed to complement the existing Board. I would also like to extend my thanks and appreciation to those Board members stepping down for the time and energy they have devoted to the IMA during their tenure as Board members."
