Director – Derivatives
Jack Dixon is a director at Omgeo, where he is responsible for developing and executing Omgeo’s strategy for the derivatives segment. Working with clients and industry groups to examine current challenges in the industry, he looks for opportunities for Omgeo to help the community and leads the development of derivatives solutions within Omgeo.
Mr. Dixon has been with Omgeo for five years, having previously led various strategic projects for the firm, particularly around Omgeo Central Trade ManagerSM, the leading central matching platform for trade processing.
With over 19 years of experience in the financial services industry, Mr. Dixon has held numerous positions on both the buy- and sell-sides. Most recently, he was with Cap Gemini and then Capco, where he consulted for various brokerage houses in middle and back office operations, as well as prime brokerage operations. He was integral in examining and redesigning business processes and developing technology solutions to gain operational efficiency and reduce risk. Previously, he was with Fidelity, where he worked within fund operations and technology, among other positions.
Mr. Dixon is a member of several industry groups. He serves on the SIFMA AMF derivatives operations committee, participates on the AMF 3-way reconciliation working group and AMF collateral framework working group. He is also a member of the ISDA collateral committee.
Mr. Dixon holds his bachelor’s degree in economics from University of Vermont and his MBA from Boston University.
