– New version adds consolidated last trade and best bid offer to extend the consolidated books for trading decisions and smart order routing
Aleri, a leading provider of enterprise-class complex event processing (CEP) technology and CEP-based solutions, today announced the release of version 3.0 of the Aleri Market Liquidity Analysis (MLA) engine. Aleri MLA allows traders and brokers to consolidate market data across any and all execution venues, with the ability to run automated analytics against the consolidated market view in order to drive trading strategies or perform smart order routing.
Version 3.0 of the MLA server extends the consolidated order book to include consolidation of "level 1" data to produce market quotes containing last trade, best bid, best offer and other summary data across all execution venues. This new feature combined with the user’s complete control over which venues are included/excluded and which symbols are consolidated, will allow traders, specifically in the European Equities market, to view share prices offered across multilateral trading facilities (MTFs) and various exchanges.
"Aleri originally launched MLA in early 2007 in direct response to MiFID in Europe and the increased need for tools that could analyze full market depth. As markets become more volatile, we are seeing a growing number of firms turn to MLA to provide them with a complete view of the market," said Don DeLoach, ceo of Aleri. "With a growing customer base behind us, we have made new enhancements to the MLA engine that enables traders and powers automated trading applications to achieve best execution in a fragmented market."
By consolidating multiple order book feeds from individual exchanges, Alternative Trading Systems (ATS) and MTFs, to create a virtual market book, MLA provides a powerful tool for trading in fragmented markets. This allows for analyzing liquidity across the full market, not just a single exchange. Since the Aleri MLA engine is implemented on the Aleri CEP platform, users are able to customize the consolidation rules and analytics with the promise of ultra-low latency, scalability and a robust implementation that can deliver high reliability and ensure data integrity.
Version 3.0 of the Aleri MLA engine is now available for demonstration and installation. For a free demonstration and additional product information, please visit www.aleri.com.
