Sophis North America continues to grow; 20 year career spans from M&A analyst, to trader, to sales executive
Sophis, a leading provider of cross-asset, front-to-back portfolio and risk management solutions, today announces the appointment of Howard Sudnow as director of Hedge Fund Sales. Sudnow brings over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry to Sophis, including several years as a trader at Goldman Sachs and Bear Stearns & Co.
Sudnow joins Sophis from MSCI BARRA, a division of Morgan Stanley where he held the position of executive director of Hedge Fund Sales. Before joining MSCI BARRA in 2006, Sudnow worked as principal of Institutional Equity Sales at First Albany Capital. Prior to First Albany Capital, Mr. Sudnow held positions at Westrock Advisors, Inc., Goldman Sachs & Co., Bear Stearns & Co, and Smith Barney.
